Alexander Petrone has been with the firm since 1994. He has been a principal at Barnes & Associates CPAs, P.A. for over 11 years. Mr. Petrone was born in Washington D.C. and moved to Florida in the early 80s. He graduated from Florida Atlantic University with degrees in accounting and international business. Mr. Petrone is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida, a Personal Financial Specialist, an Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) Credential holder, and a Certified Financial Planner™ Certificant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the Financial Planning Association.

Mr. Petrone’s areas of expertise include: Income and Estate Planning & Taxation, Business Valuation Services and attestation services (audits, reviews and compiled financial statements). He specializes in comprehensive financial planning with special emphasis on retirement and estate planning. He has extensive experience with clients in the construction industry, manufacturing, as well as wholesale distribution companies and pension plans. Additional areas of interest are in taxation of closely held partnerships, limited liability companies and “S” Corporations.
